Myofascial Release Pain Management
Myofascial Release is a therapy technique that will help improve your ability to move and reduce your pain. Your improvement occurs because your therapist will release the connective tissue, called Fascia, that covers all muscles in the body. Our body is composed from head to toe of this Fascia.
Myofascial release is a gentle hands on procedure. It involves a sustained pressure applied to the tissue over a prolonged period to allow the fascia to elongate. By releasing the fascia, using myofascial release techniques, pain is reduced, and mobility is improved.
You and your therapist will complete a thorough client interview including discussion of your goals. After this, your therapist will complete a full musculoskeletal assessment and evaluation of your fascia. Your Next Level Therapist will then, in conjunction with you, develop a specific treatment plan to target your fascial restrictions and work toward achieving your goals.
