Movement Training

Looking to improve your sports performance in a manner that prevents injuries?   Looking to build skills to avoid falls with your aging body?  Looking to return to activity after recovering from an injury?

If you answered “YES”  to any of the above questions, movement training is for you?

There are seven basic movements the human body can perform, and all other exercises are merely variations of these seven: Pull, Push, Squat, Lunge, Hinge, Rotation, and Gait.

When performing all of these movements, you will be able to engage all of the major muscle groups in your body. These motions focus on recruiting multiple muscle groups, therein making these motions more efficient.

After breaking down the seven fundamental movements, balanced exercise routines can be built by creating a plan that entails all of the motions.  Once learned, since these movements target all the muscle groups, functional movement techniques can be applied to your activity or sport of choice to improve your overall performance and assist in injury prevention.

At Next Level Therapy, your therapist will complete a full musculoskeletal assessment and complete functional movement screen.  Then based on your abilities, limitations, and your goals, your therapist will develop with you a complete movement plan.  Next Level Therapy strives to empower and educate you to apply your movement training to your activity, task, or sport of choice.

Our goal is to elevate you to the NEXT LEVEL.
